Coach Wooden was much admired while he was at UCLA and his great skill as a coach is without question. What’s striking though, when one studies his philosophy is how it holds up against academic research in Sport and Educational Psychology. This discussion will focus on the intersection of Coach’s beliefs with academic research and how that connection is being kept alive by UCLA faculty and students.
