FROM POLICY TO PLATE: NAVIGATING TRUMP’S FOOD POLICY
AND THE GLOBAL FOOD SYSTEM
Professor Roberts will explore the implications of the new Trump administration’s policies on food regulation, covering food safety to nutrition and beyond. This discussion will provide a comprehensive overview of potential changes in the second Administration and their impact on the food industry, public health, and legal frameworks. Additionally, Professor Roberts will review current food law and policy projects that engage the law school’s students. He will also highlight the law school’s partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and their joint FAO Constitution exhibition and education project. Emphasis will be placed on how these policies and projects affect our daily eating.
