DESCRIPTION:Please join fellow UCLA alumni\, parents\, and friends for an exclusive program and walking tour. Learn about UCLA’s ELFIN (Electron Losses and Fields Investigation) student satellite program and their ambitious exploratory goals for the future. Meet their amazing team\, hear from alumni\, and tour the labs where our very own Bruin satellites and cutting-edge instruments are manufactured and tested. Between tours\, you are also welcome to visit the UCLA Meteorite Gallery\, the largest collection of extraterrestrial specimens west of the Mississippi. \nSunday\, November 17\, 2024\n11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.*\n​​​​​     1 hour – Presentation\n     1 hour – Walking tour of ELFIN Labs \n*Please arrive promptly at 11 a.m. as groups will be split upon arrival. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for walking portion. Note this event will not include food or drink. \nParking\nParking is available for purchase in Structure 2 for $16. You can purchase parking ahead of event here. There is limited street parking available in surrounding area.
