How would I qualify as a Chancellor’s Society donor?
Donors who make gifts totaling $1,000 or more within the fiscal year are recognized as members of the Chancellor’s Society. Levels for current undergraduate students and young alumni are also offered.

How do I make a gift?
You can give any way you want—online, via phone, in the mail. Once gifts are logged in our system, they will be included in determining your Chancellor’s Society recognition level.

What gifts count towards my Chancellor’s Society recognition total?
Straight gifts, pledge payments, recurring gift payments, matching gifts, and gifts from your charitable accounts all count towards your annual recognition total.

What calendar does the UCLA Chancellor’s Society use to recognize gifts?
UCLA’s fiscal year begins July 1 and ends June 30.

Can I direct my gift to a particular area of campus?
Yes! You can designate your gift to a broad selection of areas, departments, programs and schools across campus. Click here for more information.

Can I split my gift across different designations?
Of course! Our student call center has a limit of six, but you can give to an unlimited number on our online giving page.

Do matching gifts count towards my Chancellor’s Society giving?
Yes. Matching gifts will be counted towards your annual giving total in the year in which they are received.

To check with your company’s HR department to see if they have a matching gifts program or you can look up your company in our matching gift database.

To whom can I speak about Chancellor’s Society?
Chancellor’s Society staff is available to provide customer service and address general questions you may have related to your membership. Chancellor’s Society can also assist in connecting you to the appropriate development office to answer your questions or facilitate your next gift.
