Over 14,300 students who began their UCLA journey and over 13,700 graduates now trained as leaders in their discipline.

RESEARCH

Faculty who submitted more than 5,300 research proposals to build UCLA’s intellectual capital and expand the world’s knowledge in their field.

SERVICE

More than 200 community partnerships in Los Angeles—everything from mobile health clinics to nanoscience pop-ups—where Bruins improve the quality of life in the county and beyond.

As the world’s premier public research institution, UCLA seeks to deepen its commitment to advancing knowledge, creating opportunity through education, and serving communities in Los Angeles and beyond.

To catalyze this effort, UCLA will emphasize open access to scholarships and fellowships in order to draw the brightest people from every background into our campus community. In doing so, our university can work toward generating the knowledge required to address society’s toughest problems.

    UCLA has offered admission to more than 13,700 outstanding high school seniors and 5,200 transfer students for the fall 2019 term. The students were selected from among more than 135,000 freshman and transfer applicants.
